apero

about apero

apero was originally conceived as single-player version of sushi go, heavily inspired by the grid-filling mechanic of zach gage's pile-up poker. it took a lot of tweaking to make each card feel valuable and unique to the player. there are 6 of each card and 36 total, but only 25 get to actually be seen and played, meaning the player does not have all information and must make compromises or take risks hoping they draw the card they want.
