Goal: Create the perfect Apéro (appetizer) spread! Place cards strategically to maximize points by creating combinations of food and drinks.
Setup: Each turn, place 4 cards from your hand of 5 onto the 4×4 grid. After placing 4 cards, draw a new hand. Game ends when the grid is full.
Scoring: Points are calculated for each row and column based on card combinations.
Yellow Cheese: A column or row gets 3, 7, 15, or 30 points depending on how much Yellow Cheese is in it.
Orange Cheese: A column or row gets 3, 7, 15, or 30 points depending on how much Orange Cheese is in it.
Ham: Each Ham card gives +5 points to a row or column. However, each Cheese adjacent to any Ham gives -5 points.
Bread: Each Bread card in a row or column with Ham and Cheese gives +10 points.
Wine: A column or row containing Wine and Cheese side by side gets +5 points for each Cheese next to Wine. Each additional Wine beyond the first gives -10 points.
Pickle: One Pickle card gives -4 points. Two Pickle cards give +15 points. Three Pickle cards give +30 points.
Apéro Bonus: If a row or column contains at least one Ham, one Bread, one Cheese (any color), and one Wine, you get a +25 point Apéro bonus!
