MICRORANGERS

Genre: Augmented reality mobile game

Released in: 2015

Problem Statement: Make an educational game for the upcoming microbes exhibition in the American Museum of Natural History.

Solution: In Microrangers, players played the role of researchers who had to travel between exhibits across the museum to analyze anomalies. As they scan specific items in each hall, they discover the impact of microbial life in the corresponding environment, and play mini-games to prevent an extinction event.

I designed the prototype for the game, created user flows, conducted playtest sessions, and balanced the difficulty progression.
